A creative Libra and a true believer in angel numbers, I’m a material girl from Auckland, New Zealand, now based in Melbourne for the past 9 years.
The last few years have been a journey of rediscovery, reconnecting with my creative roots. I inherited my artistic talents from my dad and began drawing at a young age, using reference photos from magazines and storybooks. Throughout school and university, I explored various mediums but always gravitated toward sketching. It wasn’t until a year ago, when I enrolled in night classes as an escape from day to day stress, that my love for painting truly began.
With a background in interior decoration, my passion for color, texture, and design is evident in my work, creating a style that is playful, balanced, and considered.

Broqué
Broqué is my playful take on the complicated relationship between materialism and emotions. I explore how shopping became therapy during a time of personal struggle. Every new purchase gave me a brief escape—a fleeting moment of excitement that distracted me from the emotional weight I was carrying. Over time I found myself priorotising luxury items over basic necessities, convincing myself that they were acts of self-care.
This collection tells my story with a wink, an expression of how consumerism was my comfort blanket when I felt alone. With bold colors and intricate details, these pieces invite you to reflect on the emotional stories behind our “treat yourself” moments.
Ultimately, “Broqué” isn’t about handbags—it’s about finding humor, healing, and real connection beyond the stuff we own. Because sometimes, art is the best kind of therapy as I have come to realise - If i paint it, i won't buy it!
